I hear this question quite a bit lately: "How are you able to price this so low?"
In short, I believe my prices are fair and not low. On one hand, Restoration Hardware, West Elm, Potterybarn and Crate and Barrel all have large corporate offices with CEO's, elaborate catalogs, salespeople and beautiful store locations that have to pay handsomely to be located where they are. They have to charge their prices to pay these bills and stay in business.
We, on the other hand, are located in an industrial business park, and I work one-on-one with each customer to create their custom upholstered pieces. Our small team makes everything here on site. This is what we have done since 1998 in Scottsdale, and it works. No salespeople, no catalogs, no CEO's. We have many styles to choose from on our site, a very simple catalog that I made with some basic designs years ago to help us get started and then it's all custom designing from there. Or, we can just work off of pictures from other websites.
I know we could charge more, but there is a level of satisfaction in giving people a great deal for something they have always wanted. In turn, my ultimate reward is working for someone who truly appreciates the value of what we offer and then passes our name onto their friends and families.
